The Edge Effect

The Edge Effect is created when two ecosystems cross each other’s thresholds and develop an environment that supports and sustains elements of both. In this unique ecosystem, greater diversity is created from the cooperation of the two systems, and new life is sustained.

LucidBeings Dance utilizes the Edge Effect as a metaphor for the possibility of unity among different communities and the potential that is created when diverse groups of people are brought together. This is a piece about hope and recognizing the lessons mother nature can teach us about honoring diversity.
